Biblical Hebrew
Build confidence reading and understanding the Hebrew of the Torah, N’vi’im, and K’tuvim.
Biblical Hebrew Overview
Biblical Hebrew is the language of the Torah and many of the prayers we hear in synagogue. For many learners, it can feel intimidating at first, but it doesn’t have to be.
At Start Learning Hebrew, we focus on clarity, patterns, and confidence. Whether you’re preparing for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, returning to Hebrew as an adult, or exploring Jewish texts for the first time, you’ll learn how to approach the words in a way that actually makes sense.
No memorization without understanding. No rushing. Just steady, supportive progress.
